Pio Karle is a photographer based in Stuttgart, with a focus on reportage.

He works close to people, never in their way, with a precise sense of what an image should carry and the patience to wait until it does.

Whether a moment unfolds on its own or is planned from the start, the approach stays the same. Mostly digital, sometimes on film.

His work has been exhibited in print and is made to exist beyond the screen.
